Family!
In my family I have my mum, my dad, my grandma, my 4 uncles, 5 aunties and my 10 cousins in NZ. In the US I have my other grandma, my 2 grandpas, 3 uncles, 2 aunties and my 6 cousins and a great grandmother!
EOTC During Week 7 at school,Year 5 have been doing EOTC. EOTC means Education Outside of The Classroom. On Monday we went to Orakei Marae, the girls went off to learn a poi dance and the boys went off to learn the haka. At the end we showed the boys our poi dance and the boys showed us their haka. Our poi dance was ten times better than their haka.My highlight was learning about the maori culture and my lowlight was that Grace wasn't there.It was #3 on my expectations list. On Tuesday we went to Tree Adventures, and we learned how to clip one carribina onto another and we all had lots of fun. I got a little scared though.My highlight was doing it for the first time and my lowlight was getting scared. It was #2.On Wednesday we went orienteering at Waiatarua Reserve. We had to walk there and back. When we got there we were given a map of the reserve and off we went. There were 2 courses we had to complete, course 2 and course 6. It was #4. On Thursday we went to the Mt Albert Wave Pools we had alot of fun, we went down the hydro slide and when the waves started they were huge.My highlight was all of it and my lowlight was well I didn't have one.It was #1
